Gula Melaka coconut Jelly for this hot weather.
Recipe: ( Shirley's Homemade)
2 cups water
185g Gula Melaka
1 1/2 tbsp agar agar powder
1 cup Santan
Pinch of salt
Method:
1.Bring the water,Gula Melaka n 1 tbsp of agar agar powder to boil .
Reduce the heat and stir till sugar dissolved.
3.Divide the mixture into 2 portions.
4.Pour 1 portion into a 6" cake tin n set aside until partially set.
5.Return the other portion to boil over medium heat and add in the santan, salt n remaining agar agar powder to boil. Remove from the heat and pour the Santan mixure to the set bottom
layer n set to cool n chill.
6.If you want thicker layer double the recipe.
