(Complete Recipe) Indonesian Kue Lapis Legit

Indonesian Kue Lapis Legit @ Layer Cake

Ingredient :

● 20 egg yolk
● 3/4 Lapis spices @ all spices ( I omit
this, my children didn't like )

● 300 gr castor sugar
● 500 gr margarine
● 200 gr all purpose
● 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk

In Other Bowl
● 10 egg white, whisk until stiff

Method

Whisk margarine and sugar until fluffy, than add in egg yolk one by one, follow by sweetened creamer, after well combine, add in flour little by little until the flour finish.
Whisk the egg white until stiff but not dry, and add in into the flour mixture, stir until the egg white well combine with the flour mixture.

Greased and lined the 18x18x8 cm baking tin (only lined the bottom ), than pour the mixture into the baking tin, bake into the preheated oven with 160-180C .

Pour the mixture into the small rice bowl for one layer of the cake so the cakes will look neat and nice layer by layer, u also can use a ladle, ( I use 2 scoop of ladle for one layer ) .
For the first layer use the lower heat, until the cake almost done than use upper heat for the next layer.

Wait until the cake really cooked than u can pour another layer, do it until all the mixture finish.

For the last layer put the lower and upper heat together for 5-10 minutes.
When the cake is cooked, take it out from the oven , let it cool before release the cake from the baking tin.
