Recipe:
300gm soaked soya bean blend with 2 Litre of water
(coagulation) A
2 tbsp Cornflour
1 1/4 tsp gypsum powder ( sekoh)
1/2 cup cold water
Sugar syrup:
I bowl of sugar
1 bowl of hot water
2 inches old ginger
Boil together till medium thick
Method:
1.blend soy bean with half water.sieve using muslin cloth.add in remaining water. Boil the soy milk.
2. Mix A together in a bowl. Then pour into a pot.I used my porcelain slow cooker.put the pot on the floor.
3.once the soy milk boiled, pour the hot liquid into the pot containing the coagulation solution from a height above your hip like those mamak pour the tea tarik. Cover the pot n leave it for 50 min.( wrap the pot cover with a cloth to prevent steam from dripping on to the tau Fu Fa.
4. Scoop out the liquid top of the tau Fu Fa. Using the tau Fu Fa scoop, scoop out layers into a bowl.add in syrup.Done.
