Original recipe adapted from: long yen at http://dhmrecipes.blogspot.my/2017/02... and I did a little tweak on it.

My group members crazily making tri colour chiffon with lotsa beautiful colours and also batik chiffon (chiffon with batik design - basically few colours swirl to make it looks like batik). It was so beautifully.. I need to try it out..I still got lotsa improvement of doing a beautiful marbling effect.

Recipe:
(A) 5 egg whites
1/4tsp cream of tartar
70gm sugar

(B) 5 egg yolks
20gm sugar
70gm milk
50gm corn oil
90gm self raising flour

(C)
8gm cocoa powder
8gm green tea powder
8gm self raising flour
dash of vanilla extract

(A) Whisk egg whites to foamy then add cream of tartar and sugar. Whisk till firm peak. Set aside.

(B) Whisk egg yolk with sugar until pale and fluffy, add in milk & corn oil, then sift in flour. Whisk to combine.

(C)
Divide the yellow batter into 3 equal portion.
Portion 1 - vanilla - sift in flour and dash of vanilla.. mix well.
Portion 2 - green tea - sift in green tea...mix well.
Portion 3 - cocoa powder - sift in cocoa powder...mix well.

Equally portion out meringue into 3 portions. Fold it in in 3 additions.

Scoop the batter into the pan, by alternating the colours. Then use a chopstick to swirl around the pan to create a marbling effect.

Bake at preheated 170c oven for 10mins, then 150c for 55mins... adjust accordingly.

Invert to cool down completely before unmoulding...

Happy Baking ~
