(Complete Recipe) Zebra Print Milk Loaf

There's a few method of shaping this zebra printed loaf and i find by shaping it this way is the easiest...

I'm using the usual dough recipe that I'm using for all my animal printed loaf..

Recipe:
375gm bread flour
35gm sugar
1tsp instant yeast
1/2tsp salt
250ml milk
20gm soften unsalted butter
3gm bamboo charcoal powder
5ml milk

Mix bread flour, sugar and yeast.. give it a stir then add salt, stir and then add milk... knead into a rough dough then add in the butter and continue to knead for 15-20mins.

If you poke a hole on the stretched dough, it remains the shape then the dough is ready...

Divide the dough into two portion then set 1 portion aside to proof for 1hour or double in size.

Add bamboo charcoal powder and milk into the other portion of dough and knead until combine. Set aside to proof for 1hour or double in size.

After 1 hour, randomly divide each dough into 6 portions, then pinch and stretch into pan length. Stack the dough on top of each other, and also alternating the colour...so you have 1 layer black and 1 layer white..

Randomly stretch and randomly stack so that the dough will come out with a random zebra printed shape instead of straight vertical line...

Flip it 90c from top, and put it into a lightly grease pullman tin.. cover with a plastic wrap and let it rise until 90% full before cover it with the pullman tin cover...

Let it sit for another 1hour or so.. then bake in a preheated 180c fan forced oven for 30mins...

Once done, take out the loaf and let it cool down on a rack before slicing it up...

And there you have it... pretty zebra printed loaf...
