For the rice
3 cloves minced garlic
2 cups washed rice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp kg chicken powder by Nicole Ann Ng
1/2 tsp tumeric powder
20% less water that usually needed to cook the rice
Mix everything together abd set aside
For the chicken
3 boneless chicken thigh
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
Dash of cajun
Drizzle of oil
Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper and cajun. Heat up the pan with oil and cook the chicken skin side down till brown and crispy then turn over and cook for another 3mins or so. It doesnt need to cook through.
Lay chicken on top of the rice and cook like usual in rice cooker.
When it is done remove the chicken and puff the rice..
Done.
