(Complete Recipe) Traditional Steamed Egg Cake (Ji Dan Gao)

Recipe: For a 9 in size basket ( 7 in basket for 3 eggs)

6 double A size eggs
500 gm castor sugar...
600 gm mp flour
400 ml soda drink


Method:
1. Line a 9 in basket with greaseproof paper
2. whisk eggs and sugar till thick and pale - whisk at high speed for about 20 min.
3. Alternately add in flour and soda .Mix well.
4.. Pour batter into basket and make a cross with granulated sugar for it to huat and steam at high heat for 35-40 min.
