I made this post as many has mentioned that it is difficult to get authentic recipes from Sri Lanka..
U can use tuna, seer, salmon, even can cook salmon in can accordingly to this recipe.
Fry in little oil cinnamon, cumin seeds
Add curry leaves, onions, garlic and fry till onion soft.
Add chilli powder, curry powder, tumeric powder, salt and pepper
Add water ( not too much),tomato or tamarind paste and fresh chillies.
When water boils add fish pieces. Once fish is cooked add some coconut cream and let it just bring to boil again n off the fire.
