All about Lemon! Lemon Chicken Chop + Lemonade
Ingredients:
4-6 pcs chicken chop ( deboned), marinate with some salt, pepper and sesame oil
1 egg (lightly beaten)
Some seasoned flour for deep-frying
Lemon Sauce:
3 tbsp concentrated orange juice (I used Sunkist brand)
3 tbsp freshly squeeze lemon juice
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
150g water
2 tsp cornstarch + 2 tsp water for thickening
Method:
1. Coat chicken with beaten egg and seasoned flour and deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown. Dish and drain. (For air fryer, fry with 200C for 10 mins, reduced to 180C fry another 5 mins)
2. Put all sauce ingredients in a saucepan (except corn flour water). Bring to boil.
3. Gradually add in the corn flour water for thickening.
