Tomato Kurma
2-3 ripe red tomatoes, chopped
1 cup coconut milk
1 onion, diced
2 green chillies
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
Heat oil, saute 1 bay leaf, 1 cinnamon, 2 cardamoms, 1/2 tsp fennel seeds, curry leaves. Add onions,green chillies, tomatoes. Fry till tomatoes soft and mushy, add salt, all the spice powders.. fry well till oil separates, lastly add coconut milk. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves.
